# AI for Beauty and Personal Care

Every product needs its ingredients, testing, labelling and safety assessment on file, and every channel wants its own version of the data. AI GO consolidates product information files and channel operations so an inspection is a retrieval, and listing is not a rebuild.

- **One master** product data reused by every channel
- **Traceable** ingredients, batches and document versions
- **No lapses** testing and document expiry prompted

## 現況痛點

### Product files scattered across teams

Ingredient lists with R&D, test reports with QA, label artwork with marketing, safety assessment with an external consultant. Assembling one complete PIF means asking four people.

### Documents hunted only when inspection looms

A regulator or a channel asks for documentation, and only then do you discover the latest test report is in somebody’s inbox — or has already expired.

### Every channel filled in separately

One form for Shopee, another for SHOPLINE, a different format again for physical retail. The same product exists in five places, and once one is edited they no longer agree.

### Batch traceability is not possible

A customer reports a reaction and you need to know which batch, where the raw material came from and which channels received the same lot — with the data scattered, all you can do is try to remember.

## 導入前後對照

**Before**

- Product documents held separately by R&D, QA and marketing
- Compiled at the last minute when an inspection or channel asks
- Product data re-entered for every channel
- Document expiry tracked from memory
- Batch traceability requires manually retracing several records

**With AI GO**

- Product information files centralised with traceable versions
- Required documents retrieved directly against the product
- One master maintained and drawn on by every channel
- Testing and document expiry prompted automatically
- Batches, raw materials and destinations are traceable

## AI GO 對應能力

Product information file management is the core; inventory, e-commerce and service can be added depending on your channel mix.

### Regulatory documents centralised and traceable

Cosmetic product information file management keeps ingredients, testing, labelling and safety assessment under one product, with versions and expiry logged. An inspection becomes retrieval rather than compilation.

### Expiry without memory

Test reports lapsing, safety assessments due for update, labelling rules changing and requiring review — configure each once and the system raises it.

### One product master

Channels list from the same master, so one edit propagates everywhere. No more "the website says 30ml and the marketplace says 50ml".

### Batches traceable to channel

Stock control links to the product file, so a complaint can be traced to the batch, its raw material source, and which channels received the same lot.

## ROI 試算

For an own-brand beauty business with a four-person team at an average loaded rate of NT$380/hour:

| 作業項目 | 每月人工工時 | 時薪 | 每月可省 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Compiling product documents and confirming versions | 30 | NT$420 | NT$12,600 |
| Re-entering listing data per channel | 26 | NT$320 | NT$8,320 |
| Reviewing document expiry | 12 | NT$420 | NT$5,040 |
| Batch tracing for complaints | 14 | NT$450 | NT$6,300 |
| Reconciling stock across channels | 22 | NT$350 | NT$7,700 |

## 常見問題

### Does the system guarantee we are compliant?

No, and it should not make that determination — compliance is a judgement for your regulatory consultant or QA function. What the system does is ensure documents are complete, versions unambiguous and expiry never missed, eliminating the class of problem where non-compliance stems from not being able to find a document. The substantive regulatory judgement stays with your professionals.

### We are a contract manufacturer. Does this apply?

Yes, and the need is more concentrated. Contract manufacturers often serve several brand clients, each wanting different document formats on different cadences. With product information files centralised, you retrieve by product when a client asks rather than reassembling every time.

### How granular should batch traceability be?

It depends on your risk appetite and customer requirements. The minimum useful level is finished-goods batch to sales channel; a fuller implementation extends upstream to raw material batches and suppliers. We suggest starting with the former, since it answers the first question asked when a complaint arrives.

### Can we adopt product file management only?

Yes, and it is usually the best starting point. Cosmetic product information file management is a standalone module — solve the document problem first and add channels and inventory once you have felt the benefit.
